Valarian
Valarian builds infrastructure for governments and enterprises that want to leverage frontier intelligence without giving up control. Its platform, ACRA, allows you to run your entire AI stack inside your own environment.
We rebranded and relaunched the company ahead of its Series A, creating an identity inspired by Valarian's British heritage for the next phase of AI adoption.
Website
Most organizations feel like they have to decide whether they value using frontier intelligence enough to give AI agents access to their data and let them loose within their systems with limited oversight. In other words, are you willing to sacrifice your sovereignty to use the best tech available? Valarian makes it so you don't have to decide.
Brand

How people use AI is progressing at breakneck speeds. New features and models ship weekly and even the vernacular being used to describe what is being built is constantly changing. So we needed to build a brand system that could keep up with the rate of change.
We built an agentic brand system that lives in a repository that both people and agents read. Positioning, messaging, guardrails and every design token sit in plain files, with rules that tell an agent which files to load for a web page, a post or a sales deck.
Launch
Valarian raised a $50M Series A led by NEA and we leveraged that moment to make a big splash within the tech community and UK politicians online.

In a moment where European nations and the companies within them were feeling uneasy about being over-reliant on foreign tech, we leveraged Valarian's British heritage to get people to pay attention to sovereign AI. The launch video got over 250k fully organic views (not "organic" with paid botted engagement) across X and LinkedIn.

We created custom branded Valarian Barbours as part of the rollout and gifted them to investors and key influencers.
Perplexity partnership
In October, Perplexity partnered with Valarian to bring its AI tool suite to enterprises through ACRA, so the experience runs on models and compute the customer controls. The announcement had to introduce Valarian to Perplexity's audience of AI commentators and still speak to the enterprise buyers ACRA is for. We built the launch film around one promise, a frontier experience inside your own compute boundary, and let the product make the case.
Website build

Sovereignty is an abstract word, so the site's job was to make control feel concrete. We built working demos that put a buyer in front of the decisions they would actually make: which model to run, which people and agents can see which data, and where it all gets deployed.
Then we made the stakes visible. A chart of enterprise AI spend showed the share going to rented models rising year on year while open-weight models fell behind: the sovereignty gap.
Scale was harder to show, because control usually erodes as a system grows. The ACRA section turned it into one continuous motion: a single conversation, the controls around it, then a whole fleet of enclaves, all governed the same way. Retain control while you scale, in one scroll.
Content and go-to-market
We're still working with Valarian, running its content and go-to-market week to week. That covers the company's X and LinkedIn, the films, ads and landing pages behind each campaign, and the paid media, sponsorships and influencers that put them in front of the people Valarian sells to.
Behind the scenes

“We needed a brand that could keep pace with a market that changes every week. Trash rebranded us, launched our Series A and built a site that shows what ACRA does, and months later they're still the team keeping our story moving.”
